The CytoSense-C is a mobile flow cytometer designed for industrial, shipboard, and ferrybox use. The core of the CytoSense-C is its scanning and imaging technology, which integrates particle scanning and high-resolution imaging in one device. It features an optical resolution of less than 1 micron and can detect particles ranging from 0.1 micrometers to 800 micrometers in diameter and up to 2500 micrometers in length. This wide particle size range ensures accurate counting and analysis of nanoparticles, picoplankton, and larger filaments without the need for changing flow cells or lenses.
The CytoSense-C performs local analyses with improved speed and response, making it suitable for shipboard and industrial sites. It combines laser scatter and fluorescence profiles with photo imaging to provide detailed characterization and classification of particles. Its automated analysis ensures repeatability and reproducibility, while its clog-free and antifouling fluidics design maintains long-term stability with low running costs.
The instrument is modular, configurable with up to two lasers and six optical detectors, and is easily upgradable with accessories such as staining modules and automated sampling systems. This flexibility allows it to adapt to a variety of research and monitoring needs.
